The biggest achievement of the Han Dynasty was paper. Invented in 105 A.D. by a Han official Ts'ai Lun made paper out of mullberry bark, old rags, and hemp fiber. Before people just used silk, paper was cheaper and more convenient.
They also made advancements in collars for horses. This allowed them to pull heavier loads.
